Dr. Jan de Boer
Jan de Boer is an independent scientific expert with a broad background in cell biology, biomaterials, high-throughput screening and data-driven tissue engineering. He is known for pioneering contributions including the TopoChip platform, the TTD premature-ageing mouse model, and key advances in bone and ligament regeneration. A co-founder of Materiomics and inventor on multiple patents, he has extensive experience in translating biomaterial innovations into industrial and clinical contexts, supported by collaborations with multiple companies and leading academic institutes. He joins the Scientific Advisory Board to help advance BioMACs’ mission of integrating materials science, cell biology and data science to develop next-generation medical technologies.
